Warranty Overview

We offer a number of different Service Agreements and you should check your purchase details to be certain as to the level of cover you have in place. In the event of no agreement specified the assumption should be that our Bronze Level of cover applies.

Service Agreement extensions are available, see the relevant listing for prices. Service agreements can only be purchased prior to delivery. Service Agreement extensions can be purchased until the day prior to the expiry of a warranty. Extensions do not include labour. Service Agreement extended prior to the expiry of an agreement are chargeable at the prevailing agreement extension price, an administration charge of £20 will also be applied.

The following Service Agreements are available;

Bronze Package            1 Year parts and labour warranty
   Return to base and distance replacements (CRU’s) included

Silver Package              2 Year parts and labour warranty
   Return to base and distance replacements (CRU’s) included

Gold Package               1 Year in Home, parts and labour warranty

Platinum Package         2 Year in Home, parts and labour warranty
   10 Year drive motor and lifetime frame cover included

Platinum Plus     2 Year in Home, parts and labour warranty
   10 Year drive motor and lifetime frame cover included
   3rd Year parts warranty. Distance replacements (CRU’s) included

 

Issues are rare with ProActive Fitness’ equipment however if one occurs we have a well trained technical team capable of resolving it.

Our trained staff will discuss the issue with you to determine its likely source and then advise upon a resolution procedure. In many cases the advice of our technicians will resolve your issue immediately. If this procedure is not successful repair or replacements may be required. The exact procedure / options open to you will depend upon the level of warranty cover you have in place.

It is our policy to prioritise all technical issues and we will aim to resolve your issue in a swift and professional manner.

If you intend using any item in an environment other than that of a ‘residential home’ you must contact us to discuss alternative Warranty arrangements. This applies equally to light or full commercial applications.

The Warranty does not cover product failure as a result of inappropriate, unreasonable or forceful behaviour. Your Service Agreements will be invalidated by a failure to take reasonable and necessary care of the product or by performing modifications or alterations to it. This does not include technical advice as expressly provided by a ProActive Fitness technical advisor.

Warranties applicable to a product located in an overseas or Grampian / Highland area of Scotland will be taken as the period of cover specified on a Return To Base / Replacement Parts basis.

 

Addendum

All 2 year On-Site Service Agreements (including 1 year On-Site warranties extended at the time of purchase) will include as standard 10 year drive motor, lifetime frame cover in the case of treadmills, and 10 year drive motor, lifetime frame cover in all other cases. Wear items are not extendable beyond the period of standard cover. Wear items include decks on treadmills, seats on bikes, seats and pull cords on rowers.
